FAQ

Orders & Delivery

Where is my order? / Who do I contact if my delivery isn't on time?

If your order is running late, please check your delivery confirmation email and any text messages sent to the phone number provided at checkout, as these will include delivery updates.

If you still need help, contact our team at hello@theafterschoolcookieclub.com with your order number and we'll look into it.

When will I receive my order?

We use DPD Next Day Delivery for all nationwide orders. Deliveries are typically made between 8am and 10pm.

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive tracking information directly from DPD via email and/or text message. Please ensure your contact details are entered correctly at checkout so you can receive delivery updates.

While we use a next day delivery service, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed and delays may occasionally occur.

Ordering for special occasions?

If your cookies are for a birthday, celebration, gift, or special event, we strongly recommend selecting delivery for the day before you need them.

Although we use a next day delivery service, delivery dates and times cannot be guaranteed, and parcels may arrive anytime up to 10pm on the scheduled delivery day.

Do you offer nationwide delivery?

Yes! We offer nationwide delivery across mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland).

Place your order before 11am for the earliest available dispatch date. Available delivery dates and options will be shown at checkout.

Can I collect my order instead of having it delivered?

Yes. You can place an order online and collect your cookies from our Mayfair bakery.

Orders placed before 11am are available for next day collection, subject to availability. Please select collection at checkout and check available collection dates and times before placing your order.

Can I amend or cancel my order?

Yes. Changes can be made up until 11am on the day before your scheduled delivery or collection date.

If you need to amend your order, change your delivery or collection date, or cancel your order altogether, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@theafterschoolcookieclub.com and we'll do our best to help.

For full details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

Can I order cookies for offices or events?

Yes. We offer office deliveries, corporate orders and event catering. For larger orders, get in touch at hello@theafterschoolcookieclub.com.

Ingredients, Allergens & Nutrition

What flour do you use in your cookies?

Our cookies are made using a blend of gluten free self raising flour and gluten free oat flour.

Ingredient details may vary depending on flavour, so please refer to our allergen information page for the most up to date details.

Are you nut free?

No. All of our products are handmade in a kitchen that handles nuts and other allergens.

While we have robust procedures in place to minimise the risk of cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are completely allergen free. If you have a severe nut allergy, we advise against consuming our products.

Are your cookies suitable for people with coeliac disease?

Our production site is 100% gluten free and does not handle any gluten containing ingredients. Our cookies and cookie dough are gluten free at the point of manufacture.

However, some of the toppings and ingredients we use are produced in facilities that also handle gluten and may contain trace amounts. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that our products are completely gluten free.

If you have coeliac disease or a severe gluten intolerance, we recommend reviewing our allergen information carefully and contacting our team before placing an order.

Are your cookies vegan?

Yes! Our entire menu is 100% plant based, including all of our cookies, drinks and bakes.

What is the nutritional value of each cookie?

Our large cookies contain approximately 250 to 300 calories each, depending on the flavour.

Why isn't the allergen matrix updated?

We update our allergen information regularly, but seasonal launches, limited editions and recipe improvements may occasionally result in a short delay.

If you have a food allergy or specific dietary concern, please contact us before placing your order at hello@theafterschoolcookieclub.com.

Important allergen information

All products are made in a kitchen that handles allergens and we cannot guarantee that any product is completely allergen free.

Guests with severe allergies are advised not to consume our products.

Please refer to our allergen information page for the most up to date details.

Cookies at Home

How long do your cookies stay fresh?

Our cookies are freshly baked every day in our Mayfair bakery, carefully packed and dispatched the very same day.

For the best experience, we recommend enjoying them within 5 days of receiving your order. Store them in an airtight container at room temperature.

Fancy that fresh from the oven feeling? Pop your cookies onto a baking tray and warm them in a preheated oven at 170°C for 1 minute. Happy days. 🍪🍪🍪

Can I freeze the cookies?

Yes! Our cookies freeze beautifully.

Store them in an airtight container and simply reheat when you're ready for that fresh-from-the-oven magic.

What's the best way to reheat cookies?

For that fresh-from-the-oven experience, place your cookies on a baking tray and warm them in a preheated oven at 170°C for 1 minute.

You can also pop them in the air fryer for a minute or two. If you prefer a softer, gooier centre, a quick burst in the microwave works beautifully too.

Too Good To Go

What happens if I can't collect my Too Good To Go order in time?

Too Good To Go orders must be collected within the collection window shown in the app.
If you're unable to make it, please cancel your order directly through the Too Good To Go app. Unfortunately, we can't hold bags after the collection window has ended.

If I have allergies, can I choose which cookies are included in my Too Good To Go Bag?

Unfortunately not. Too Good To Go Bags contain a surprise selection of surplus products, and we cannot guarantee which cookies will be included.

If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please speak to a member of our team before purchasing.

As our products are made in a bakery that handles a range of allergens, we cannot guarantee that any item is free from allergens. If you have a severe allergy, we would advise against purchasing a Too Good To Go Bag.

Classes & Experiences

For baking classes, if I buy one ticket can two people share a cookie cake together?

To make sure everyone has enough space and materials, each participant normally requires their own ticket unless otherwise stated on the class page.

Do I need baking experience?

No. Our classes are designed for all levels, whether you're a confident baker or it's your very first time picking up a piping bag.

If all the dates or times I want are fully booked, will you be running more sessions?

We certainly hope so! Keep an eye on our website and social channels for new dates and announcements.

Are these sessions suitable for everyone?

In principle, yes. We love inclusivity and try to keep restrictions to those that are essential for the safe and enjoyable running of our sessions.

  • Participants must be at least 12 years old.
  • Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Ages are determined on the date of the session and proof of age may be required for insurance purposes.
  • Due to the age and layout of the building, guests with impaired mobility should refer to the Accessibility Note before booking.
  • If you have any allergies, please refer to our Allergy Policy before attending.
What if I'm late for my session?

As we run multiple sessions throughout the day, we ask all guests to arrive in good time before their booked start time so they can enjoy the full experience.

If you're running late, you're still welcome to join the remainder of your session. We'll do our best to help you catch up, but we may not be able to cover everything you've missed within the allocated session time.

To ensure everyone has the best experience, we cannot extend sessions or provide additional one-to-one time if this would impact other guests.

Is there access to a WC at The After School Cookie Club in Mayfair?

Yes. Toilets are available for bakery class attendees only and are located in the basement, accessed via a spiral staircase (35 steps down from the first floor, where the classes take place). If you have impaired mobility, please note:
The class will take place on the first floor of the bakery, which is accessed via a spiral staircase. Unfortunately, this means the space is not step-free accessible. If you have any questions or would like to check suitability before booking, please get in touch with us.
